Alright I’m having way to much fun and spending way to much time with this. I went back into ArchiCAD and added some detail and then started over with textures and objects and etc. Every time I do this I learn something so I would say it’s beneficial. Let me know what you think.
I’m on the last day of my trial period. So I put together an other model really quickly. Actually this is a house I did in AutoCAD in 1998. I did the rendering using the Maxwell rendering engine. I pretty sure I’m going to buy a license. I got comparing prices with Cinema 4D and I just can’t justify the price. There’s really no comparing the programs. Artlantis only renders and C4D is a full movie animation software. With all the tools in ArchiCAD I don’t feel I need everything C4D has to offer.
Checking out new rendering software. Here are some samples of things I’ve been playing with. It is a demo program so there aren’t many shaders, objects or anything else, but I think I like what I’ve seen. I would be switching from Maxon’s C4D. This is a tough one.
